Michael Cravens is Founder and CEO of BabySitters.com, a profitable and leading provider of sitter and nanny profiles to parents. Established in October 2000, Mr. Cravens founded BabySitters.com to help parents find the best caregiver situation in the shortest possible time.
Before launching BabySitters.com, Mr. Cravens held a variety of management roles at America Online, Inc. Most recently, Mr. Cravens was Director of AOL Small Business Product and Business Development, responsible for all aspects of improving the AOL offering to small business owners. He guided partnership opportunities with external companies, from negotiation to implementation. Mr. Cravens was also responsible for maintaining existing partnerships with American Express, Network Solutions, Constant Contact, Dell, Gateway, Office Depot, and Entrepreneur.com. He led product integration efforts with Affinity Internet, Inc. to build a private label solution for domain name registration, domain email, and Website hosting packages for AOL.
Prior to joining America Online in 1996, Mr. Cravens served as a Sergeant in the Marine Corps and received numerous awards for his service in the Gulf War. He has a B.A. in Business Administration from Campbell University.
